CCO Oregon convened data analysts, quality improvement leaders, and health information exchange and technology experts across coordinated care to discuss opportunities for collaboration and shared advocacy. We had an engaging conversation covering everything from data sharing across care locations to role clarity in data collection. We are currently working with the participants and other key stakeholders to identify priority focus areas and the ideal meeting cadence for this group.

The conversation focused on opportunities, barriers, and areas for collaboration or shared advocacy related to:

Data and data systems
Metrics and definitions
Provider network capacity and workforce development
The Social Determinants of Health workgroup hosted a retreat on October 26, 2018, which brought together voices from across the coordinated care model to discuss timely issues and ideas. The meeting included a discussion of leveraging state agency data systems, supporting standardization of data and data sharing across high-level systems, utilizing current funding opportunities at a cross-system level, and planning and piloting risk-adjustment models that incorporate social determinants of health.
